Albrecht Weller is the President and Portfolio Manager for Schwaben Investment Counsel.Mr. Weller has over 23 years experience in the capital markets industry. Over the past year, while establishing the Schwaben Capital Group, he acted as CFO and Managing Director for a privately held merchant banking firm. From 1998 to 2009 Mr. Weller was an investment advisor with major brokerage firms; initially for a $50 million private holding company and from 2002 to 2009 with RBC Dominion Securities and BMO Nesbitt Burns. From 1995 to 1998 Mr. Weller Vice President with an offshore hedge fund manager. Mr. Weller holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a of the CFA Institute, the Toronto CFA Society and the National Club.
